Hi I am new to blogging and I am asking you to please bear with me. My interests are crafty things such as quilting, English paper piecing, crocheting, knitting, and so much more. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures of recent things I have made or am working on I will post them and blog away. I am hoping that everyone is enjoying the Christmas season and looking forward to a bright healthy and happy new year.

Yes I did figure out how to post a picture. This is my first time at crocheting a sunflower granny square. I didn't have the yellow yarn for the center so I used what I had. I plan in the future to make more with prettier yarn and make an Afghan.

I first learned to crochet in the sixth grade. I had to sign up for a hobby/crafty class and I chose crochet. I very first project I ever made was a hat. I now longer have this hat. I guess I didn't think to save it back then as my very first project I made. But since then I have made several large sized granny square blankets and they have been put to good use through the years.
